World Environment Day Celeberation @ BJILS on 7th June, 2026

7th June, 2026 @ BJILS: The institute in association with the Youth Red Cross Unit, Legal Aid Cell and the National Service Scheme (NSS), celebrated World Environment Day on 7th June 2026 with great enthusiasm and commitment towards environmental conservation. The programme commenced with the welcome of the distinguished guests. Dr. Sheshappa Amin K graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Sri Vinaya Chandra Jain attended as the Guest of Honour. The celebration began with the symbolic planting of saplings by the guests, emphasizing the importance of environmental protection and sustainable living. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sheshappa Amin K highlighted the significance of World Environment Day and stressed the need for collective efforts to protect natural resources and maintain ecological balance. Sri Vinaya Chandra Jain also spoke on the occasion and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives and contribute actively towards environmental conservation. Dr. Pradeep M.D., Principal of the Institution, Mr. Ashoka Acharya, Legal Aid Cell Convenor, Mr. Kiran N., NSS Programme Officer, Mr. Dhanraj, Youth Red Cross Convenor and Representatives from Management were present during the programme. Their presence added value to the event and inspired the students to participate in environmental initiatives. All the law students of the institution actively participated in the programme and gained awareness about the importance of preserving the environment for future generations. The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment from the students and staff to contribute towards a greener and healthier planet through responsible environmental practices.
