Interclass Moot Court Competition to the students of B.B.A.,LL.B and LL.B courses @ BJILS on 30th June, 2026

30th June, 2026 @ BJILS: The Moot Court Society of the institute has organised an Interclass Moot Court Competition to the students of 5 Year B.B.A.,LL.B and 3 Year LL.B courses on 30th June, 2026 held at 10.00 a.m. in the institute's moot court hall. The moot proceedings were judged and presided over by Ms. Shree Devi Narayana, Assistant Professor, Mr. Kiran N, Assistant Professor, Mr. Ashoka Acharya, Assistant Professor and Mr. Dhanraj, Assistant Professor. Four teams comprising of 3 members, have actively participated in the event engaging in the tasks of preparation of moot proposition as per the rules of the competition, researching necessary authorities required for the case and showcasing the advocacy skills during the moot court trial by arguing upon the facts and circumstances of the case was meticulously carried out.  

The results of the competition is as below. 

1. Kannada Moot Court Competition:

    Winners: Mr. Akshay, Mr. Karthik Shetty and Mr. Joe Montheiro

    Runners-up: Ms. Shruthi N, Ms. Anusha and Ms. Anushree.  

2. English Moot Court Competition:

    Winners: Mr. Vaibhav H J, Mr. Anvith Hegde and Ms. Boomika Masti Gond

    Runners-up: Mr. Stephen Monthero, Mr. Nishan Prashanth Kodthero and 

                            Ms. Manisha G.

Prize Money: 

1. Winners Cash Prize- Award of Rs. 1,000/- to each participant.

2. Runners-up- Award of Rs. 500/- to each participant.
