6 September, 2025 @ BJILS: The institute, in collaboration with Dhiraa SkillDev Foundation, Mumbai in association with Securities and Exchange Board of India and National Institute of Securities Markets has organised webinar on "Introduction to Financial Planning' to the students of 5 Year B.B.A.,LL.B and 3 Year LL.B courses on 06th September, 2025. The session was taken by Mrs. Deepthi M G, SEBI Smart Trainer, Mumbai. The session oriented the law students on to the aspects of budgeting, financial plans, investments, types of investments, types of investments, aspects of market risks, investment agencies, approved authorities on investment regulations, investment frauds, cyber crimes and its effects, precautions for prudent investments etc. The session was very interactive, where students cleared doubts regarding short-term investments. About 78 students have attended the programme. Prof. Ashok Acharya, Student Welfare Officer of the institute has coordinated the event. Prof. Sanghamitra Roy Pai, Prof. Dhanraj, Prof. Priya Jenita D'Souza, Prof. Kiran N and Prof. Shilpa B were present during the session and The student participants were issued the participation certificates.
