has organised a special lecture on the topic
"Constitutionalism" by Dr. Girish K.C., Assistant Professor &
Centre for Research in Water Resource Management and Law & Centre for
Research in Democracy and Constitutional Government, Karnataka State Law
University, Hubli. The resource person delivered an insightful presentation
covering the theoretical foundations and practical applications of
constitutionalism. The lecture highlighted the historical evolution of
constitutional thought, role of constitutional institutions in safeguarding
democratic values and contemporary challenges facing constitutional governance.
The session witnessed active participation from the students and faculty
members. Students appreciated the opportunity to learn from Dr. Girish K.C.'s
extensive expertise. The event reflects the commitment of the institute to
quality legal education through expert interactions and contemporary legal
discourse. Faculty members praised the interactive nature of the session,
noting its valuable contribution to the curriculum. Ms. Suha Sheikh, a
student of 2nd B.B.A., LL.B., performed the Master of the
Ceremony, Mr. Mallikaarjun of 2nd LL.B. introduced the guest to
the gathering and Mr. Niraj, a student of 2nd B.B.A., LL.B.,
proposed the Vote of thanks. About 60 students participated in the event.
Faculty members Prof. Sanghamithra Roy Pai, Prof. Ashoka Acharya, Prof. Kiran
N., and Prof. Shilpa B were present during the programme.
