Bhuvana Jyothi Institute of Legal Studies, Shirthady
The managing trustees of the Bhuvana Jyothi Education Trust (R) in consultation with the Governing Council of the Bhuvana Jyothi Institute of Legal Studies, Shirthady have appointed Dr. Pradeep M.D. as the founder principal of the institute and the official charge was handed over in the presence of all the managing trustees and teachers and staff of Bhuvana Jyothi Residential School, Shirthady on 15th July, 2024.
Dr. Pradeep M.D. was previously Dr. Pradeep M.D. is a renowned professor with a doctorate in law from Alliance University, Bengaluru. He holds a postgraduate degree in Law, Social Work and Sociology. He secured first rank in LL.M in Business Law, first rank with a gold medal in MSW and Sixth rank in MA (Sociology) postgraduate studies. He has completed Post Graduate Diplomas in Business Administration and a postgraduate diploma in Corporate Psychology.
Dr. Pradeep M D, was previously working as Associate Professor and Research Guide at Srinivas University, Mangaluru. He is a member of the Mangalore Bar Association, Mangaluru and provides legal consultations on Property, Labour, Consumer, Research & Education matters. He was a Law Member of the Ethical Committee for Doctoral Studies, at Srinivas University till July 2024. He is appointed as the Social Scientist for the Yenepoya Ethics Committee-2 from June 2023 having been certified with ‘Good Clinical Practice’ from NIDA Clinical Trials Network valid up to 3rd June 2026. Research Professor for Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University between 30th September 2021- April 2023 guiding 8 research scholars.
He has authored 3 books titled ‘Health and Safety Management” published by Lambert Publications Germany, ‘Women Empowerment for Inclusive Growth” published by Studium Press, New Delhi and “Social Group Work” published by Notion Press, Tamil Nadu respectively. He has edited 3 conference proceedings. Published a Blog Post on ‘Cyber Crimes & Cyber Security’ in the Oxford Law Blog, Oxford University, U.K. He has completed 6 Online Courses from Coursera, Upgrade and Swayam portals respectively. Has Published 53 Papers in refereed International Journals and about 40 Papers were published in the Conference Proceedings with ISBN. He has delivered expert talks, Key Note addresses in Conferences and Seminars. He conducts Faculty Development Programs, Management Development Programs and Student Development Programs.
