Sharada Pooja Celebration at BJILS on 29th September, 2025 with Bhajana Programe

29th September, 2025 @ BJILS: A Sharada Pooja was performed in the library of the college by organising the Bhajan Session by the students of 3 Year LL.B Course and 5 Year B.B.A.,LL.B course. The students sung devotional songs, keerthan and bhajan before the pooja ceremony. The pooja was performed to seek blessings of the lord sharada to nurther, guide and empower the students and faculties with right knowledge, good memory and  healthy student life. Mrs. Latha, Treasurer of the Institute and Member of the Governing Council and Mr. Raghavendra Prabhu, President of Bhuvana Jyothi Education Trust (R), Dr. Pradeep M D, the principal of the institute, Prof. Sanghamitra Roy pai, Chair Person, IQAC, Mr. Ashok Acharya, Student Welfare Officer of the institute, Prof. Kiran N, Prof. Dhanraj, Prof. Shilpa, Prof. Priya Jenita D'Souza were present during the pooja. Mr. Mandar, student of 5 Year LL.B, Ms. Ananya and team performed the bhajan event.  

 

NSS Day Celebration with the Inmates of Mount Rosary Charitable Institutions, Alangar, Moodbidri on 24th September, 2025

24th September, 2025 @ Mount Rosary Charitable Institutions, Moodbidri: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of the BJILS with the aim of providing service to the older people through the NSS Volunteers of the college has organised an old age home visit to Mount Rosary Charitable Institutions, situated at Alangar, Moodbidri. The NSS Unit of the college in association with the Mount Rosary Institute has jointly organised National Service Scheme (NSS) Day celebration with the inmates of the charitable institution on 24th September, 2025 at 10.00 a.m. The National Service Scheme (NSS) Day was inaugurated by hosting the NSS Flag and singing the NSS Song. The program was presided over by Dr. Shirley T Babu, Senior Professor of the Department. Reverend Sister Prisilla D Mello, Manager (Old Age Home) was present during the occassion. The NSS Unit has offered refreshment to the inmates of Mount Rosary Charitable Institution. The NSS Volunteers have handed over a set of  Groceries to the office of the Old Age Home. Mr. Bryan Suvaries, Mr. Charles D'Costa, Mr. John Baptist, Mrs. Vasanthi and Mrs. Cynthia the inmates of the institute has showcased their talent during the visit. The event was Coordinated by the NSS faculty Coordinators Prof. Kiran N and Prof. Priya Jenita D'Souza, NSS. The event was organised by Ms. Suraksha and Mr. Nikhil Ullas Naik, NSS Student Coordinators.  About 35 students of third semester B.B.A.,LL.B, first semester and third semester LL.B courses have actively participated in the event. Prof. Kiran N, NSS Officer of the Institute, Prof. Ashok Acharya, Student Welfare Officer of the Institute and Prof. Sanghamitra Roy Pai, IQAC Coordinator of the Institute were present during the occasion. The master of ceremony was performed by Ms. Yakshitha, Welcome address was delivered by Ms. Yashwitha and Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. Ranjith.
