Drone Demo Show- Application of Aeronautical Engineering in Drone Technology @ BJILS on 28.11.2024


28th November, 2024 @ BJILS: The institute in association with Mangalore Institute of Technology, Mijar under the banner of Legal Aid Committee and Student Council 2024-25 has organised a 'Drone Demo' event by the tech students of MITE institute. The event was inaugurated by Smt. Latha A, Treasurer, Bhuvana Jyothi Institute of Legal Studies, Shirthday. Resource persons of the event Dr. Anand S.N, Prof & HOD Department of Aeronautical Engineering, MITE and Dr. Madhanraj V, Assistant Professor, Department of Aeronautical Engineering, MITE oriented on the evolution of aviation sector and implications of drone technology in the emerging times. The drones in the form of bird, aircraft and normal drone are displayed. The event was presided by Sri. Raghavendra Prabhu, President of Bhuvana Jyothi Education Trust (R), Shirthady and Sri. Sharanappa M Bhavi, Advisor of Bhuvana Jyothi Institute of Legal Studies, Sri. Prashanth N, Correspondent of Bhuvana Jyothi Instittue of Legal Studies, Dr. Pradeep M D, Principal of Bhuvana Jyothi Institute of Legal Studies and Dr. Koushik C, Student Welfare Officer of the Institute. The event was coordinated by Prof. Sudhin M S, Assistant Professor of Law. Ms. Suha Sheikh Student of First year B.B.A.,LL.B was the master of ceremony and Mr. Prakash, Student Council President of the institute proposed the vote of thanks. The student volunteers of MITE college have assisting in hosting the event. About 50 law students and about 150 school students participated and enjoyed the seen of drone fly.

Commemoration of 75th Constitutional Day through a Public Rally at Shirthday Bus Stand on 26.11.2024 at 2.30 p.m.

 26th November, 2024 @ BJILS: The institute has celebrated “Constitution Day” signifying the 75th year of adoption of the Constitution of India on November 26, 2024 with great fervor and pride. November 26 is observed as Constitution Day in India as on this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution, which came into effect on January 26, 1950, marking the beginning of a new era in Indian history. The students of 5 Year B.B.A., L.L.B and 3 Year L.L.B have taken a rally on the occasion of “Constitution Day” at 2.00 p.m. at Shirthady Bus Terminal, in the presence of Mrs. Agnes D Souza, President, Shirthady Grama Panchayat, Mr. Damodar, PDO, Shirthady Grama Panchayat, Librarian, Shirthady Grama Panchayat, Staff of Primary Health Care Centre Shirthady, Mr. R. Prashanth D’Souza, Secretary of Bhuvana Jyothi Education Trust, Mrs. Latha A, Trustee of Bhuvana Jyothi Education Trust, Dr. Pradeep M.D, Principal, Dr. Kaushik C, Student Welfare Officer, Mrs Sanghamitra Roy Pai Coordinator of IQAC, Mr Sudhin  M S Coordinator, Legal Aid Cell and Ms Sowmya  Coordinator, Cultural & Fine Arts. The event was a tribute to the framers of the Indian Constitution and its enduring values of justice, equality, liberty, fraternity and to create awareness of importance of Constitution and to make the citizens to know their Fundamental Rights. Around 100 Students including Bhuvana Jyothi Residential School students participated in the “Constitution Day” celebration. The event was started with welcoming the Guests greeting with flowers. At first read the Importance of Constitution after that mass reading of the “Preamble” and finally conveyed the Fundamental Rights of Citizens. Mrs. Agnes D Souza, spoke regarding Constitution Day in brief. Principal, Dr. Pradeep M. D. highlighted how the Constitution embodies the power of democracy, enabling every citizen, irrespective of caste, creed, or gender, to contribute to nation-building and thank the dignitaries, organisers, host, participants and general public. The event concluded with National Anthem. The master ceremony was conducted by Mr. Darryl Criston Miranda, Convener, Legal Aid Committee.

Guest lecture on 'Emerging Rights & Writs' @ BJILS by Prof. Ahmed Hassan Razooqi M H on 26th November, 2024 @ 2. p.m.

25th November. 2024: Bhuvana Jyothi Institute of Legal Studies marked Constitution Day with a distinguished lecture by Professor Ahmed Hassan Razooqi,  Assistant Professor SDM Law College Mangaluru who delivered an insightful talk on “Emerging Rights and Writs”.  Prof. Ahmed Hassan Razooqi captivated the audience with a comprehensive analysis of contemporary constitutional law, focusing on the evolution of fundamental rights, Innovative interpretations of constitutional writs, and Emerging legal challenges in modern governance. Razooqi elaborated on the dynamic nature of constitutional rights, emphasizing how judicial interpretation continues to expand the scope of individual liberties and legal protections. The lecture prompted extensive discussions among law students, who actively participated in, Question-and-answer sessions, Interactive dialogue with the speaker and Critical analysis of constitutional principles. Dr. Pradeep M D, Principal of Bhuvana Jyothi Institute of Legal Studies, highlighted the importance of such expert lectures in nurturing future legal professionals' understanding of constitutional dynamics. The program was presided over by  Mr Prashanth N  Correspondent of Bhuvana Jyothi Institute of Legal Studies and Mrs Sanghamitra Roy Pai Coordinator of IQAC and Seminar and Guest lecture, Dr Koushik C Coordinator  Student Welfare Officer, Mr Sudhin  M S and Coordinator of Legal Aid  Ms Sowmya  Coordinator  Cultural & Fine Arts were present during the event.
